Unveiling the True Guide: The Muttashil Spirit and the Orbit of the Heart

ATTENTION: It is recommended to read Chapters I-III first to understand the foundational concepts of the soul's journey, the spectrum of light, and the method to reach the Womb of Wahdaniyah in Sulam Nurul Muttashil.

"Do not seek a Guide outside your shell, if you have not yet broken the coral in your chest.

For true guidance is not a voice coming from afar,
but an echo from your Muttashil Spirit calling you home from the future of your consciousness."

1. The Breaking of the Consciousness Fossil (Al-Fath al-Awwal)

Humans generally live in a consciousness fossil (Al-Wa'y al-Mutahajjir), formed from the sedimentation of trauma, false identities, and pollution of worldly frequencies in the realm of Nasut. This coral is not merely a metaphor, but an energy density that envelops the Sadr (chest), so that light from the inner core cannot penetrate outward.

Behind this coral resides the Nafs (Gateway of Body Consciousness) which has 8 energy branches in the Realm of Spirit. The journey of ma'rifah begins with an "Explosion of Consciousness." Shalawat and dhikr are not merely melodies, but frequency warheads that crack the shell of the ego (the skin of the heart). When cracks appear, a phenomenon of Inshirah (expansion) occurs, where one begins to be able to "Read the Space of the Heart"—recognizing bitter honesty behind social masks.

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ

"And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs."

أَفَمَنْ شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدْرَهُ لِلْإِسْلَامِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِ

"So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart is hardened]?"

This verse explicitly connects Inshirah (expansion of the chest) with possessing "Light from his Lord" (Nurin min Rabbihi). This is the legitimacy that Al-Fath al-Awwal is an event of frequency illumination.

2. The Munfasil Spirit: The Transitional Messenger

When the skin of the heart cracks but has not yet completely shattered, light from the source of the Nafs radiates outward through these cracks towards the Realm of Mithal. This radiation is called the Ruh Munfasil, the outermost fragment of the self's light that is "released" from the confinement of the body to fetch the intellect.

The Mechanism of Yursilu (Sending): Just as Allah releases the soul during sleep:

اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنْفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا ۖ فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَىٰ عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَىٰ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى

"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term."

Function: A temporary guide that leads the intellect with symbols, dreams, and vibrational feelings (al-Hadis) so that it becomes accustomed to the frequency of Divine Light.

الْأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ ۖ فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ ۖ وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ

"Spirits are assembled troops; those that recognize each other will come together, and those that do not recognize each other will remain apart."

The Munfasil spirit seeks the same frequency in the Realm of Mithal to guide the intellect towards Ittihad (reunification).

3. The Breaking of the Self: Reunification (Al-Ittihad)

After the intellect has matured sufficiently, the Munfasil spirit is drawn back to the center of consciousness. This is the Breaking of the Self, where the coral of the ego is completely shattered and reunification (Al-Ittihad) occurs. The human realizes that what guided him was not a foreign entity, but his own purified Nafs.

وَأَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ مِنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَىٰ شَهِدْنَا

"And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam—from their loins—their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], 'Am I not your Lord?' They said, 'Yes, we have testified.'"

4. The Muttashil Spirit and the Anatomy of the Heart's Orbit

The pinnacle of the journey is the discovery of the True Guide, which is the Ruh Muttashil (the Connected Spirit), always connected to Nur Muhammad ﷺ. It resides at the center of the heart's orbit as the pilot of consciousness in the Realm of Spirit. Its Eye, the Lubb, reads the frequencies of light and keeps the body, intellect, and soul in their Divine orbit.

In understanding this depth, it must be emphasized that Wushul is the return, while Sainthood (Wilayah) is the assignment. The following is the sequence of the layers of the spirit along with their correlation to the degrees of assignment:

4.1 The Muttashil Spirit (Ruh Muttashil)

The servant who is steadfast in his orbit. In the map of assignment, this is the basis of Wilayah 'Ammah (General Sainthood Degree), where the servant is stable in his consciousness but without specific cosmic responsibility.

4.2 The Connecting Spirit (Ruh al-Wasilah)

Operates in the Realm of Wahidiyah. Becomes a frequency bridge towards the Light of Muhammad. This layer correlates with Wilayah Khassah (Special Sainthood), where a servant serves as a local point of mercy.

وَابْتَغُوا إِلَيْهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ

"And seek the Wasilah (means of approach) to Him."

4.3 The Holy Spirit (Ruh al-Quddus)

Operates in the Realm of Wahdah. The main channel of light in the region of Nur Muhammad and Nur az-Zahra. This depth reflects the station of Wilayah Qutbiyyah (Pole of the Age).

قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ

"Say, [O Muhammad], 'The Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth.'"

4.4 The Returning Spirit (Ruh ar-Raji'un)

The subtlest core that is thrust back to its origin in the Womb of the Realm of Wahdaniyah Light (the unity of Allah's attributes). This is the essence of the Ruh al-Amr that has returned. This station is the place of Al-Ghawst (the Supreme Helper), chosen directly by Allah, where his consciousness is completely immersed without claim or identity.

CRITICAL WARNING:
"Our task is only to return the Spirit to the Womb of Wahdaniyah Light.
As for whether that spirit is established, dissolved, or disappears at the end of the story—
we need not think about or imagine it, for that is entirely the affair of Allah SWT.
Here we stop!"

قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي

"Say, 'The soul is of the affair of my Lord.'"

The Four Layers of the Heart:

فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَٰكِنْ تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ

"For indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but the hearts are blind which are within the breasts."

1. Ṣadr (صَدْر) – The Gateway of Heaven: Frequency filter. Condition of Wushul: Expanded (Inshirah).

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ

"Did We not expand for you your breast?"

Source: Surah Al-Insyirah (94):1

2. Qalb (قَلْب) – The Axis of Transmutation: Transforms worldly energy into spiritual energy. This is where the Ruh al-Wasilah operates.

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ

"Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart."

3. Fu'ād (فُؤَاد) – The Eye of the Heart: Witnesses the reality of light with feeling. Aligns with Ruh al-Quddus.

مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰ

"The heart (Fu'ad) did not lie [about] what it saw."

4. Lubb (لُبْ) – The Throne of the Muttashil Spirit: The center of ladunni intelligence where the Eye of Lubb reads the frequencies of light.

وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ

"And none take admonition except those of understanding (Ulul Albab)."

5. The Return to the House of Peace: The Stable Orbit

When the Muttashil Spirit takes the helm through the Eye of Lubb, the orbit of the heart stabilizes. Humans continue to live in the world (Nasut), but their frequency is already aligned with the Womb of Wahdaniyah Light—the unity of Allah's attributes merged in the form of the Original Light (Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth). The final return occurs when the Ruh ar-Raji'un is thrust back to its origin.

يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ﴿٢٧﴾ ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً ﴿٢٨﴾

"O reassured soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing."

Narrative Enrichment: The Eye of Lubb as Cosmic Radar

The Eye of Lubb reads the color of the light of intentions and thoughts. Dark thoughts (entropy) trigger discomfort in the Qalb, urging humans to return to orbit through istighfar and strengthening love for Allah.

وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ

"And whoever believes in Allah—He will guide his heart."

THE ESSENCE OF THE FOURTH CHAPTER

The journey of wushul is the process of breaking the consciousness fossil that envelops the heart.
It begins with Al-Fath al-Awwal, the first crack in the expanded Sadr.
Then the Munfasil spirit is sent as a temporary guide, leading the intellect with whispers of light.
Until the moment of reunification arrives, when the soul realizes: what guided it was its own purified self.

The Muttashil spirit is the true guide that resides at the center of the heart's orbit.
It is directly connected to Nur Muhammad, radiating through four layers:
Sadr, the expanded gateway of heaven;
Qalb, the axis that transforms darkness into light;
Fu'ad, the eye that witnesses Divine reality;
Lubb, the throne where light is read as guidance.

Ruh al-Wasilah becomes a bridge towards Nur Muhammad.
Ruh al-Quddus becomes a channel of holy light.
And Ruh ar-Raji'un is the core that returns to its origin,
without claim, without identity, only surrendered in the grasp of the One.

Wushul is not about how far you have traveled,
but how deeply you allow light to break your coral.
The true guide was never out there.
It is your Muttashil Spirit that has been waiting for you to return all along.
