ATTENTION: It is recommended to read Chapter I first to understand the foundational concepts of the soul's journey in Sulam Nurul Muttashil.
"From the Womb of Wahdaniyah Light was born the Light of the heavens and the earth: Allāhu Nūrus Samāwāti wal Arḍ."
Introduction
The journey towards Allah in Sulam Nurul Muttashil is the process of ascending the ladder of light that is organically connected. Each realm is not a geographical territory, but a gradation of the intensity of light frequency and the subtlety of spiritual consciousness.
Understanding this spectrum is the roadmap (Sulam) so that the soul may recognize the path of return to the Womb of Wahdaniyah Light. This spectrum of seven realms is the geometric map of the seven Wombs explained in Chapter I.
1. Fundamental Evidence of Light: Nur as the Origin of All Existence
All existence originates from the Nur (Light) of Allah SWT through the manifestation of His attributes in the creation of light. Solid matter is merely condensed light (low frequency density), like water crystallizing into ice without changing its essential liquid nature.
"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp. The lamp is within glass. The glass is as if it were a pearly white star, lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things."
Source: Surah An-Nur (24):35
"The first thing Allah created was my light, then He made it circulate in the form of a man."
Source: HR. Abdurrazzaq: 18507 from Jabir ibn Abdullah
Meaning: Human consciousness has a "umbilical cord of light" that is directly connected to the Womb of Wahdaniyah Light through the Deep Memory of Mitsaq (Chapter I).
"Exalted is He who took His servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
Source: Surah Al-Isra' (17):1
Meaning: The Isra' and Mi'raj (Night Journey and Ascension) is clear proof that vertical (ascending) journeys through the realms are possible for humans, and it serves as a model for the soul's journey towards the Womb of Wahdaniyah.

2. The Spectrum of Seven Light Realms (The Ladder of Ma'rifah)
2.1 The Realm of Ahadiyah — The Absolute Essence of Allah
The ocean of absolute silence before all duality, form, direction, time, and space. The Essence (Dhat) of Allah SWT alone, beyond intellect and imagination.
"He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing."
Source: Surah Al-Hadid (57):3
Meaning: Ahadiyah = spiritual zero dimension; duality is totally annihilated in the Absolute Oneness of the Essence.
2.2 The Realm of Wahdaniyah — The Unity of Allah's Attributes
The Realm of Wahdaniyah is the perfect unity of all the attributes of Allah SWT—Knowledge, Power, Mercy, and the 99+ Beautiful Names—realized in pure light form. It must be emphasized: this is not the Essence (Dhat) of Allah, but the first station of manifestation of attributes after the Realm of Ahadiyah (Absolute Essence).
The Womb of Wahdaniyah Light functions as the first spring—the focal point from which Nur Muhammad ﷺ first emerged as the first crystallization of the unity of light attributes. From here, the soul's journey can ascend back to the Womb of Wahdaniyah through the Womb of Mitsaq (Chapter I).
"There is nothing like unto Him (Essence), and He is the Hearing, the Seeing (Attributes)."
Source: Surah Ash-Shura (42):11
"Indeed, Allah is over all things competent (Attribute of Power)."
Source: Surah Al-Baqarah (2):20
"He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful."
Source: Surah Al-Hashr (59):22
"I was a Prophet when Adam was still between water and clay."
Source: Sunan At-Tirmidhi: 3609
Meaning: Nur Muhammad existed before the creation of Adam, confirming that it is the first tajalli (manifestation) from the Womb of Wahdaniyah.
It is important to clarify the concept: لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ affirms that the ESSENCE of Allah remains absolutely separate from creation. While وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ affirms that His attributes are realized in the Realm of Wahdaniyah. The Womb of Wahdaniyah Light is the first spring of Nur Muhammad, which is the first created product from the unity of attributes—not the Essence and not wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence).
Esoteric Meaning: The Realm of Wahdaniyah can be understood as the initial tajalli (manifestation) of Divine attributes, organically connected to the Essence of Ahadiyah. Through the Womb of Light as the first spring, from here the entire spectrum of manifestation—from Nur Muhammad to the creation of the universe—is systematically descended, giving the soul a path to return to the Womb of Wahdaniyah Light.
2.3 The Realm of Wahdah — Nur Muhammad ⚭ Nur az-Zahra
Nur Muhammad emerges as the first Tajalli from the Womb of Wahdaniyah, united with Nur az-Zahra (the feminine aspect of Ar-Rahman). The union of these two poles of light gives birth to all of reality.
"There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book."
Source: Surah Al-Ma'idah (5):15
"Fatimah is a part of me (my light); whoever angers her has angered me."
Source: Sahih Al-Bukhari: 3714; Sahih Muslim: 2449
"And My mercy encompasses all things."
Source: Surah Al-A'raf (7):156
Meaning: Nur az-Zahra = the path of soul protection: the Womb of Istifa (descending) and the Womb of Kautsar (ascending).
2.4 The Realm of Wahidiyah — Kauniyyah ⚭ Malakut
Differentiated light forms the domains of universal governance:
Kauniyyah: the seeds of energy & physical matter
Malakut: subtle light, the governing angels
"And created each thing and determined it with precise determination."
Source: Surah Al-Furqan (25):2
"Who perfected all things which He created and began the creation of man from clay."
Source: Surah As-Sajdah (32):7
"And they ask you about the soul. Say: 'The soul is of the affair of my Lord. And you have not been given of knowledge except a little.'"
Source: Surah Al-Isra' (17):85
2.5 The Realm of Jabarut — The Realm of Spirits and Unseen Power
The command center of absolute Divine power; the place of holy spirits, ladunni knowledge (direct divine knowledge), and miracles.
"He arranges each matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of that which you count."
Source: Surah As-Sajdah (32):5
2.6 The Realm of Misal — Images and Symbols
The connector between the spiritual and physical; manifests dreams, inspiration, and symbols of ma'rifah (divine knowledge).
"And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them in play."
Source: Surah Al-Anbiya (21):16
"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought."
Source: Surah Az-Zumar (39):42
Meaning: The realm of dreams (Misal) is the soul's entrance to the higher realms, proving that vertical journeys can be experienced in partial consciousness.
2.7 The Realm of Nasut — The Laboratory of the Soul
The densest realm, where the Qalb (Spiritual Heart) condenses the four nourishments of the Wombs (Chapter I).
"It is He who created for you all that is on the earth."
Source: Surah Al-Baqarah (2):29
"From the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time."
Source: Surah Taha (20):55

3. The Path of Tajalli: Nuzuli (Descent) and Su'udi (Ascent)
Descent (Nuzuli): Ahadiyah → Wahdaniyah → Wahdah → Wahidiyah → Jabarut → Misal → Nasut
Ascent (Su'udi): Nasut → Misal → Jabarut → Wahidiyah → Wahdah → Wahdaniyah → Ahadiyah
"How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned."
Source: Surah Al-Baqarah (2):28
4. Ontological Clarification — Against Wahdat al-Wujud
Sulam Nurul Muttashil affirms the absolute distinction between the Essence of Allah and His creation, rejecting the doctrine of wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence) which equates the two.
"Say, 'He is Allah, [who is] One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.'"
Source: Surah Al-Ikhlas (112):1-4
5. Conclusion of Chapter II: Integration of the Light Spectrum
The Spectrum of 7 Realms is the geometric map of the 7 Wombs from Chapter I. Nur az-Zahra connects the Womb of Mitsaq → the Womb of Wahdaniyah, becoming the vertical path of protection for the entire ladder of light.
Glossary of Terms:
Tajalli: Manifestation of Divine light
Nuzuli: Descent of light frequency
Su'udi: Ascent of light frequency
Muttashil: Connected without interruption

THE ESSENCE OF THE SECOND CHAPTER
Seven realms are the ladder of light connecting the soul to its origin.
From Ahadiyah's silence, the inaccessible Essence of Allah.
To Wahdaniyah, the ocean of attributes where Nur Muhammad first emerged.
To Wahdah, the meeting of two poles of light: Muhammad and Zahra.
To Wahidiyah, the precise measurement of destiny in the seeds of creation.
To Jabarut, the command center of holy spirits.
To Misal, the bridge of dreams and inspiration.
Until Nasut, the laboratory where the soul is tested.
This ladder is not to be climbed with arrogance,
but to be recognized as the map home.
Each realm has its own light,
and the soul that recognizes them will know the direction.
Nur az-Zahra is the golden thread penetrating all layers—
from Mitsaq, descending to the mother's womb,
enveloping the earth, then ascending again as Kautsar that purifies.
She is the mercy that is never cut off,
connecting the lowly with the Most High.
❖
This is the spectrum of consciousness: from the darkness of Nasut towards the light of Wahdaniyah.
Not a physical journey, but an ascent of the soul's frequency.
And at its peak, the soul no longer asks "where am I?"
for it has returned to its original Womb,
united in endless light.
