ATTENTION: It is recommended to read Chapters I-VI first to understand the foundational concepts of the soul's journey, the spectrum of light, the method, the stages of wushul, the obstacles to ma'rifah, and the role of the Prophet and Az-Zahra in Sulam Nurul Muttashil.
"The light you gather in your prostration is not for you to store in the cave of your inner self,
but to bring to the marketplaces of the world;
so that the one who is lost no longer needs to see the sun to know the way home,
it is enough to see the tranquility on your face."
Introduction
Whoever has connected with light no longer busies himself waiting for a guide; his own steps have become guidance for his surroundings.
1. The Essence of Al-Mahdiyyin: Guided Individuals
In Sulam Nurul Muttashil (SNM), Al-Mahdiyyin is not a political identity, a school of thought, or an exclusive claim, but an inner quality born from true spiritual connection. The word Mahdiyyin itself comes from the root هَدَى – يَهْدِي which means to guide.
ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah."
Source: Surah Al-Baqarah (2):2
Thus, Al-Mahdiyyin are human beings whose lives are moved by divine guidance (hidayah), not by ego ambition or the impulses of desire. In the context of SNM, they are individuals who have harmonized the frequency of their hearts with Nur Muhammad ﷺ, so that the direction of their lives is no longer determined by inner confusion.
The main output of Sulam an-Nur al-Muttashil is the birth of the Muttashil human—the connected human. When the heart is in the "Shalawat Capsule" and protected on the "Womb Path," it receives guidance that is personal and intense.
وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْوَاهُمْ
"And those who are guided, He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness."

They no longer lose direction, because their inner compass is moved by Tarbiyah Nabawiyyah (Prophetic Nurturing) that emanates from the Light of Prophethood, not from the whispers of the world.

2. Characteristics of the Mahdiyyah Society
When these guided individuals interact with one another, an inner collective order is born called the Mahdiyyah Society. This is not a state, not a formal structure, but a spiritual bond based on light.
a. Spiritually Independent
They do not depend excessively on physical figures, because each individual has direct access to the light of guidance through adab (spiritual etiquette), shalawat, and dhikr.
اللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ
"Allah is the Protector of those who believe; He brings them out of darkness into light."

وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ
"And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him."
Source: Surah At-Talaq (65):3
This affirms that a Mahdiyyin feels "sufficient" only with Allah, so they do not become "beggars of attention" from other creatures.
b. Based on Compassion (Rahimiyyah)
Relationships among members of the Mahdiyyah society are built on the vision of the Womb (Rahim), not ego competition. They see each other as siblings in light.
الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ
"Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful."

c. Consistent (Istiqamah)
They remain stable amidst the shocks of the age because the foundation of their consciousness is firmly rooted in Allah as the goal and the earth as a trust.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا
"Indeed, those who have said 'Our Lord is Allah' and then remained steadfast..."

3. Connection with Shalawat Nurul Muttashil
In SNM, shalawat is not merely a verbal recitation, but a living means (wasilah)—a spiritual vehicle that carries the seeker (salik) towards the station of Al-Mahdiyyin.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ
"Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet."
Source: Surah Al-Ahzab (33):56
Through Shalawat Nurul Muttashil:
- The individual enters the current of light that purifies the mind from inner illusions and misleading light phenomena, so that their intellect remains healthy and directed towards Iqra (the consciousness of reading Allah's signs).
- Society is bound together in one frequency of mercy, as the purpose of the Prophet's ﷺ mission.
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
"And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds."
Source: Surah Al-Anbiya (21):107
4. The Independence of Spiritual Orphanhood
SNM affirms that the absence of a physical guide does not mean the absence of Divine guidance. Many seekers feel themselves to be "spiritually orphaned," yet it is precisely there that Tarbiyah Nabawiyyah (Prophetic Nurturing) works directly.
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ
"Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?"
Source: Surah Ad-Duha (93):6
This verse does not stop at the story of the Prophet, but becomes a sunnah of Allah for the inheritors of light. The seeker who surrenders themselves completely to Allah will be nurtured by the essence of prophethood, born as a "child of light," not a child of confusion.

5. Conclusion: Becoming a Complete Human Being
The final output of Sulam an-Nur al-Muttashil is the return of the human being to their primordial nature (fitrah). They become a tranquil soul (nafs al-mutma'innah), a harmonious society, and a servant who knows their Lord through honest feeling and pure inspiration.
يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ﴿٢٧﴾ ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً ﴿٢٨﴾
"O reassured soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing."
Source: Surah Al-Fajr (89):27-28
This is the essence of Nurul Muttashil: light that connects without interruption, from the source of prophethood to the depths of the human heart, giving birth to Al-Mahdiyyin who walk the earth as living mercy.
"Whoever has found the light within themselves, the world is no longer a prison to be avoided, but a garden of mercy to be tended with bright steps."

رَشْحَةُ الْبَابِ السَّابِعِ
THE ESSENCE OF THE SEVENTH CHAPTER
Al-Mahdiyyin is not a political title or an exclusive claim.
It is an inner quality born from true connection with light.
Human beings whose lives are moved by divine guidance, not by ego ambition.
They have harmonized the frequency of their hearts with Nur Muhammad ﷺ.
When the heart is in the Shalawat Capsule and protected on the Womb Path,
it receives personal and intense guidance from Tarbiyah Nabawiyyah.
Their inner compass no wavers, for it is moved by light, not by the whispers of the world.
The Mahdiyyah society is born from the interaction of guided souls.
Not a state, not a formal structure, but a spiritual bond based on light.
Spiritually independent — feeling sufficient only with Allah, not becoming beggars of attention.
Based on compassion (Rahimiyyah) — seeing each other as siblings in light.

Shalawat Nurul Muttashil is the spiritual vehicle towards this station.
It carries the individual into the current of light that purifies the mind from illusions,
and binds society in one frequency of mercy.
For those who feel spiritually orphaned, do not grieve.
The absence of a physical guide does not mean the absence of Divine guidance.
The seeker who surrenders completely to Allah will be nurtured by the essence of prophethood,
born as a child of light, not a child of confusion.

a tranquil soul (nafs al-mutma'innah),
